This archive was donated to the Friends on behalf of Mrs Kathleen Ibbetson and her late husband Dennis. Dennis worked for British Rail all his life as did his father. He was from Shildon and moved to York where he died in the 1990s. The archive consists of four photograph albums of engines, his colleagues at work or at conferences, together with some railway running statistics, a presentation clock & some books. Some of this material has been scanned and is in the process of being uploaded here.
