Meeting on 4th November 2021 at 7.10 pm.
Venue – Cricket Club, Darlington, DL1 5JD
Please find below the agenda, minutes of previous meeting and various reports.
At last months meeting we had the 2 presentations as noted below for which there are the relevant attachments:
Presentation: Georgia Cundick (Durham County Council) Protecting S&DR heritage through Local Listing.
Presentation: Chris Walker (Bright White ltd) Branding and Interpretation of the S&DR.
Attached report by Seb Pickles, the Darlington Conservation Officer, this is essential reading for the agenda item on the Rail Heritage Quarter.
It is time to start thinking about the content of the next edition of The Globe. The deadline for contributions is 3rd December, although earlier submissions are welcome. As usual we are looking for research, progress reports on projects, new discoveries, notifications of events, photos old and new, questions, archival transcriptions (although we probably have enough of those for this edition), even recipes! Anything related to the S&DR.
Please send contributions to all future editions to firstname.lastname@example.org
Room is pretty large so though not legally necessary could we ask all members to sign in on arrival for track and trace purposes and use masks when not sat at tables. At our last meeting at this venue there was table service.
Any questions please get in touch.
