Two companion volumes published by British Rail after the 150th anniversary celebrations of the S&DR in 1975. Both look back at the cavalcade between Shildon and Heighington with descriptions of the events, the engines, quotes from those who organised it and from those who attended. Both volumes are 48pp, paperback and fully illustrated with monochrome images throughout. Good condition, but some scratch marks on the back of Reflections and the binding is coming loose. Some scratch marks to the front of Retrospect.
